    STUDIO - DAVID ILES

For over twenty years Bolivar Bronze has functioned as the studio of sculptor David Iles. As a practicing artist of over forty years, Iles has created numerous large-scale outdoor sculpture commissions as well as smaller, more intimate personal artworks.

Iles has received public and private commissions from late philanthropist Trammell Crow, the City of Denton,  the City of Frisco,  the Irving Arts Association, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center,  Frito Lay Inc. and others. The Dallas Arboretum, University of North Texas and aforementioned Wildflower Center have collections of Iles' sculpture on public display.

A portion of Iles’ ongoing Texas wildlife sculpture includes the Morning Star Wildlife Series, a group of bronzes created for collectors John and Ellen McStay and represented by Blue Star Trading in Hico, Texas.

For a complete illustrated list of all the artworks created for the Native Texas Wildlife series see the downloadable PDF below (pending). An artist statement, curriculum vitae and press package are also available. For a more comprehensive look at the artwork of David Iles, please visit his personal website.
